~*~* PUBLIC NOTICE *~*~
On October 10, 2012, the
National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) notified the public about
the potential purchase and
installation of counterfeit air bags by some independent repair shops around the
country. The notification states that these installations would have taken
place on certain vehicles requiring the replacement of airbags within the past 3
years. However, the NHTSA believes this issue affects less than 1/10th of 1
percent of the U.S. vehicle fleet. We would like to assure all of our customers
ONLY use ORIGINAL
EQUIPMENT (OE) AIRBAGS.
Any questions or concerns,
please call the shop to discuss.
